Summary - Creator Code of Conduct

You can read the full Creator Code of Conduct here. But, if you’re in a hurry and need a quick reminder, we’ve put this list together that sets out our five core themes:

1. Safety & Privacy

No illegal content, nothing harmful, sexually suggestive or violent. And no realistic portrayals of regulated goods including drugs, gambling, and tobacco or e-cigarettes. Respect others’ privacy and don’t include personal identifiable information.

2. inclusivity

Rec Room should be fun for everyone. Content should be free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying. 

3. Honesty & Integrity

Rec Room is a social game. It works better, and is more fun, if everyone plays by the same rules. Don’t use cheats or exploits, be dishonest, or try to game the systems. Creators are ultimately responsible for content, permissions and roles attached to creations.

4. Fair & Ethical Economy

To keep it simple - no scammy or misleading behavior. That includes exploitative monetization practices, any form of fraud, games of chance or currency giveaways. 

5. Intellectual Property & Content Integrity

Respect copyright and intellectual property rights, secure relevant permissions, and represent content in names, descriptions and thumbnails accurately.
