Welcome to RecCon 2022! We can't wait to have you join us on September 23rd, 24th and 25th. We’ve gone above and beyond to make sure this year’s RecCon is the biggest and best yet. We have a full weekend of panels, concerts, special events, and showcases full of art, cosplay, inventions, and creator booths for you to explore!
You can join RecCon by heading to ^RecCon starting at 12:00PM PDT on September 22nd! Just for joining, you’ll receive a FREE RecCon hoodie!
Best of all, RecCon is free to attend! Whether it’s your first RecCon or you’ve been with us for all three, we’d love to see you all there! Come celebrate all Rec Room has to offer with us.
WHAT’S GOING TO BE THERE?
We've got so much planned for this year! From special events, panels, and afterparties featuring Rec Room and other game developers, industry speakers, YouTubers, creators, and musical guests, we’ve got something for everyone. Just like last year, there won’t be 40 person event limits - events will be broadcasted to many instances so you don’t have to worry about missing your favorites.
This year there’s a few new things for you to check out, like:
The RecCon takeover! Choose to join Team Orange or Team Purple in the RecCon entry room and pick up colored RecCon team swag. Take a group of friends into many of the RecCon rooms and the room will change to your team’s color - as long as there aren’t more members from the other team!
The Find the Button Challenge! Find at least one of the hidden buttons within the rooms of RecCon to win a bottle of RecCon bubbly at the end of the event!
The Jam Zone! Grab yourself a keytar and get on stage to rock the park! The more people in the park, the better it will sound, so grab all your friends and teammates!
We’re excited to have a number of special guests, including:
A Keynote with Gribbly to celebrate the past, present, and future of Rec Room
YouTube and TikTok creators like Nathie, Vbunny Go, Boethiah, Gecko VR, Soul Fox Gaming and more!
Musical events such as:
Void Resonance featuring Mithlox & Masix
Multidimensional Sentient Living Organisms featuring HTB
Into the Retroverse featuring Angle
As well as all these guests, there will be an Ink Showcase to check out rooms in an announcement-style video and creative workshops happening all weekend long!

We’re also excited to be including a souvenir booth with RecCon exclusive merch that you won’t want to miss out on - so make sure to check it out!
WHEN IS RECCON?
RecCon starts Friday, September 23rd at 8 AM PDT until Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at 10 pm PDT (but if you need to get some last minute shopping done, the room will be open until the end of Wednesday!) The programming schedule and special events can be found by clicking the button above!
Some events will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel, so look at the schedule and keep an eye on our socials.
WHERE IS THIS AT?
The room ^RecCon will go public on Thursday, September 22nd. From here, you can redeem your free hoodie, visit the shop, or enter any of the art, cosplay, or booth rooms that showcase all of the amazing thing Rec Room creators have been working on! I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS!
