Congratulations to the winners! Winning rooms placed in the top 50 for player engagement in December and are presented in alphabetical order within each reward category. The room’s creator will receive an email in the next few days with details on the reward.
We’re super proud of all the incredible work the community put into their rooms throughout 2018 and we hope this program is able to represent some small amount of the huge value we feel all creators bring to Rec Room! If you have feedback on the sort of programs, creation initiatives, or competitions you’d like to see us run in the future please post your suggestions in the #suggestions or #custom-rooms section of our Discord server or post to the subreddit. Thanks!
Share your room page
Every room you publish gets its own web page on Rec.Net. From here people can quickly launch into your room, or add your room to their launch list, even if they haven’t played Rec Room before. Just grab your room page link and share it around!
Support more player types
The more player types you support the more people can visit your room! You can toggle these options via your main menu > This Room > Setup > General Setup.
Use #RecRoom on our Social Channels
Using the #RecRoom hashtag helps the community find and share info about your room. Attaching room photos from Rec.Net or a room trailer / YouTube video helps give people a better idea of what your room is all about!
Once you have 100+ Rec Room subscribers…
You can upload a YouTube trailer to your room page! All room creators can select featured photos for their room page from the room’s photo feed. Click the … icon in the upper right of any room photo then select ‘add room image’.
