It’s time.. for another Oculus Quest 2 giveaway!

Make a short and fun YouTube video for a chance to win one of three Quest 2 VR headsets!

How to participate in the giveaway:

  • Make a fun and engaging video filmed within Rec Room, between April 29th - May 17th

  • Tag the YouTube video with #shorts and #recroomshorts

  • The video must follow YouTube’s #Shorts minimum qualification guidelines:

    • Video must be between 15 and 60 seconds long

    • Video must be recorded in mobile aspect ratio (9:16) or square aspect ratio (1:1)

  • Must follow the Rec Room Code of Conduct.

  • Subscribed to the Rec Room YouTube channel so we can have a way to contact you! Please have an additional way to contact you in your channel information/description such as a Discord, Twitter, IG, Email, etc.

 
 
 

FAQ

  • Can I use “Real Life” footage?

    • Keep it to content filmed within Rec Room! Post processing/editing is OK!

  • Can I use an editing software for this video?

    • Yes, please do!

  • Does it need to follow the Code of Conduct?

    • Yes, please use radio edits of music if you absolutely need to. Ask yourself if this is something Rec Room would post on our socials. If the answer feels like a no or a ‘maybe’, clean it up!

  • How long does the video have to be?

    • Video must be more than 15 and no longer than 60 seconds long.

  • Can I post more than 1 contest entry?

    • Yes! Make sure they are unique. Reposting the same thing multiple times may reduce your chances of winning.

  • Can I post it anywhere?

    • The video must be posted and tagged on YouTube to qualify for the giveaway, but you can repost it to your other socials as well! We recommend posting on our Discord in the #shorts channel so the community has a higher chance of viewing the video!

  • What if I’m with a group of people working on the video and we win?

    • There will be only one winner per video. The account owner must decide on who will receive the prize.

  • Can I repost my old content to participate?

    • Submissions must have been originally created within the event timeframe to qualify. Reposting content may disqualify your entry

  • I have no idea what to do!
