St. Patrick’s Day Treasure Hunt!
Welcome to our first community treasure hunt! We’ll be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and looking for treasure all around Rec Room!
To get started, search for rooms tagged with #treasurehunt and look for one of these six items:
When you find it, tap the item (in most cases you will hear the click of a button!) and your find will be recorded! You need to search in as many rooms as possible to get as many points as you can. Each room where you find an item gets you one point, so keep searching!
We have lots of prizes for players participating in the treasure hunt!
The Top 1000 finishers will receive amounts varying between 2,500 and 75,000 tokens
Lucky Shamrock (or pot o’ gold, or hat…) prize - we’ll draw one participating room at random, and everyone who found the item in that room gets an equal share of the 1,000,000 token prize!
Dedicated Treasure Hunters - did you find the trickiest treasure? We’re splitting 250,000 tokens between everyone who finds the treasure in the room with the least finds. (The item must remain publicly accessible until March 18th!)
One …er, Ten in a Million prize - A bonus 50,000 tokens to ten lucky players (drawn randomly) that found the treasure in the room with the most finds!
FAQ
Q: Do I stop once I've found all six items?
A: Nope! The goal is to find as many as you can in different rooms. Keep searching!
Q: Does every room have an item?
A: If they're tagged #treasurehunt, they should have an item. You can check by going to the This Room section of your watch and scrolling down to the Inventions Used section. If you find a room without an item, please let one of the RR_Support members know on discord!
Q: Can rooms have multiple items?
A: They can, but you only have to find one to get the point for that room! Once you've found one, keep searching other rooms!
Q: Do I need to submit proof of my finds?
A: Nope, they're automatically recorded if you push the button inside or touch the trigger zone around the item!
Q: Can I join in with my room?
