The Ink Showcase is an event where Rec Room showcases upcoming rooms from talented creators in a slideshow-like format.
Once every few months, applications will open for players like you to submit room trailers. Rooms must be released within the next 6 months to be eligible for the showcase. Approved applications are gathered together and edited into an Ink Showcase video to promote your works!
These Showcases are posted to Rec Room’s socials and are usually presented during events.
FAQ
How long can my trailer be?
3 minutes maximum! It must also be a minimum of 1 minute.
If I don’t know when I’m releasing my room, can I put “coming soon” in my trailer?
Yes, but you need to be sure it will be released within the next 6 months.
Can my trailer be an extension or big update to an existing room?
Yes!
If my room is already out, can I submit a trailer anyways?
Yes, if your room was released in the last month, you may submit its trailer for the showcase! You can also submit for additional content updates coming to an existing room.
